FutureBrand names two executives as partners

FutureBrand has announced that Christina Kokkinakis and Victoria Berry have become partners in its Australian operations, taking a direct stake in its growth strategy and future success.

Their appointments to partners reflect the continued growth and next evolution of the company’s management, reinforcing FutureBrand’s commitment to the Australian market and its local investment, while still leveraging the full potential of its global network.

“This is the natural next step for our business, ” said Rich Curtis, CEO of FutureBrand in Australia. Our success has always been built on a strong team ethos that guides not only how we work but also how we engage with our clients and their stakeholders to drive brand transformation and deliver business impact."

He added: "By welcoming Christina and Victoria as partners, we are strengthening not only how we manage and grow our own business but also how we transform and future-proof our clients’ brands, and it’s exactly this kind of strategic investment in which our company’s success and future focus is founded.”

Victoria Berry joined in September 2008 as a Strategist in FutureBrand’s New York office and played a foundational role in FutureBrand’s generational rebrand of American Airlines. Victoria then returned to Australia, first relocating to work with the FutureBrand team in Sydney, then Melbourne, and she has made a significant contribution to FutureBrand’s growth as Head of Strategy since July 2021 and the transformation of many brands over those 18 years for organisations including Air Tahiti Nui, Australian Ethical, Guide Dogs Australia, SEEK, Macquarie Group and Sydney Airport.

The partnership formalises the way I've felt about FutureBrand for as long as I can remember. I have been able to carve out an incredible career here: starting as an analyst in New York, spending time in London and Singapore, working alongside our global leadership team as well as various regional teams, and leading our strategic capability in Australia as Head of Strategy. This partnership is the culmination of 18 years of transforming and creating some of the world's most iconic brands – as well as the start of something new for me.”

Christina Kokkinakis joined FutureBrand in March 2018 as Group Account Director in the Melbourne office. She has played a pivotal role in the growth of the business and the delivery of a range of brand transformation programs for the likes of Australian Payments Plus, Bush Heritage Australia, eBay, Funlab, Guide Dogs Australia, IAG, Tennis Australia and Vocus, and she has been the General Manager of FutureBrand in Australia since July 2021.

“I joined FutureBrand wanting to make a meaningful impact. Eight years on, I can reflect on what we’ve built here and see how special it is: a team that does its best work together, and clients who trust us at their most transformative points of change. As partners, we now get to build on that success together.”
